ICP TEAMS truly made an impact on our students during their tenure at WCHS and throughout the district. Students were able to make record breaking gains in biology, English 2, Math 1 & Math 3. Not only did the EOC scores increase while utilizing ICP TEAMS and their services, but ACT scores and students with disabilities also progressed significantly. Students received support in all areas including academics, career planning, and college preparation. Students were also rewarded for their commitment to learning with pizza parties, prizes, ice cream trucks, etc. Thanks to ICP TEAMS for not only impacting the lives of students, but also teachers allowing us to tutor our students and individualize lessons and goals for them. All stakeholders truly benefit from this program and are grateful that we were chosen to be a part.

One of the greatest strengths of ICP TEAMS is its alignment to data. I intentionally use MAP and iReady assessment data to identify student needs, group students strategically, and target specific skill gaps. ICP tutors are trained to understand and use this data, which allows tutoring sessions to be focused and effective. As a result, we are able to move students thoughtfully and efficiently ensuring that instructional time is used to address exactly what students need next.

I can’t put into words how much we appreciate their partnership and service to our children. They have exceeded our expectations because of the level of service they provide. One of the most important elements of their service delivery model is relationship building. I can place them in any school, and they will build strong collaborative relationships with all stakeholders including students, parents, community members, site coordinators, principals, and more. The bond is so strong that students look forward to tutoring every day and rarely miss a day. Students know their tutors by name and look forward to sharing all about their day with their tutors.
