About
Megan Thompson serves as the Director of ICP TEAMS, where she is committed to building meaningful partnerships with school districts, families, and communities to help students reach their fullest potential. In her leadership role, she oversees district, family, and student relations, coordinates tutoring initiatives, monitors student progress, and works alongside educators to ensure every learner receives the academic support and encouragement they need to succeed. With more than six years of experience in education and student support, Megan has dedicated her career to closing educational gaps and creating opportunities for students from all backgrounds. Her passion stems from a deep belief that every child deserves access to quality educational resources, unwavering encouragement, and the confidence to believe in their own abilities. She is especially passionate about empowering students who may face barriers to success, helping them recognize their strengths, expand their opportunities, and realize their limitless potential. Before transitioning into education, Megan worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where caring for both children and elder adults strengthened her passion for serving others. It was through those experiences that she realized meaningful change begins with investing in children—the future leaders, innovators, and changemakers of our communities. Throughout her career, Megan has cultivatedÂ
strong relationships with public school districts, Title I schools, charter schools, Catholic schools, educators, families, and community partners. She is recognized for her collaborative leadership style, her commitment to student achievement, and her ability to create partnerships that produce measurable academic growth while supporting the whole child. What Megan enjoys most about her work is witnessing students gain confidence, celebrate academic milestones, and discover their potential. She believes education extends far beyond improving grades; it is about inspiring students to believe in themselves and equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Known for being compassionate, driven, and student-centered, Megan strives to ensure every family, educator, and colleague feels heard, valued, and supported. She believes the most meaningful measure of success is the lasting difference made in the lives of students and the relationships built along the way.
