Lance Banton is a retired engineering professional with 36 years of distinguished service supporting the Department of Defense. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Lance brings a lifelong passion for helping others into the educational space, specializing in middle and high school math—including Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry—as well as Language Arts.
With four years of formal tutoring experience across the Richmond Public School and Spotsylvania County Public School systems, Lance is known for building meaningful, respectful connections with students from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds. His teaching approach combines deep integrity, adaptability, and high attention to detail, ensuring students not only understand key concepts but also develop the follow-through needed to achieve lasting academic success.
